Terms of Service

Last updated: April 26, 2026

Welcome to Sojuki. By using our App you agree to these terms. We've kept them short and honest — if anything is unclear, write to app@sojuki.com.

1. Who we are

Sojuki is operated by Felipe Lechuga, a natural person based in Chile. These terms govern the use of the Sojuki mobile app and related services (collectively, the "Service").

2. Your account

3. What you can do with Sojuki

Sojuki lets you record and manage pet care as a family: tasks, health, walks, AI-generated messages, and sharing a "household" with other members you invite.

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App according to these terms. Intellectual property of the Service (code, design, brand, our content) remains ours.

4. What you can NOT do

If you break these rules, we may suspend or terminate your account without refund.

5. Your content

You own the content you upload to Sojuki: names, photos, notes, pet information. We don't claim ownership of it.

To make the App work, you grant us a limited license to store, process and display your content to you and to the household members you authorize. That license ends when you delete the content or close your account.

The content you generate may pass through our providers (Anthropic, Cloudflare, Railway). Details in our Privacy Policy.

6. Artificial intelligence and generated content

Some content you see in Sojuki — such as weekly letters and daily messages "written by your pet" — is generated by an artificial intelligence model (Claude, by Anthropic) using real data from your household as context.

Important: these messages are a creative interpretation, not actual emotions of your pet. They should not be used as veterinary diagnosis or replace consultation with a professional. Sojuki is not responsible for health decisions made based on AI-generated content.

7. Beta plan and availability

During the beta phase, Sojuki is free for all users. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans in the future, with reasonable advance notice to those already using the App.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do our best to keep it running, but we don't guarantee 100% availability or absence of errors. Beta is beta — thanks for your patience and feedback.

8. Changes and termination

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sojuki is not responsible for:

Our total aggregate liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the prior 12 months (during the free beta: USD 50 as a symbolic cap).

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If changes are material, we'll notify you at least 15 days in advance via email or in the App. If you continue using Sojuki after they take effect, you accept the new terms. If you don't agree, you can close your account.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Chile. Any dispute will be resolved before the ordinary courts of Santiago, Chile, unless the law applicable to your domicile grants you jurisdiction rights we cannot derogate.

12. Contact
